Meet our team who will help make your dream smile possible.
Lu has been a part of the ACO team since 2018 and her role has grown with the practice. She is a passionate learner - starting out as Dr Anning’s assistant she first gained her Certificate in Assisting and then completed further training to become a registered Orthodontic Auxiliary in 2022.
Lu’s attention to detail is evident in the way she cares for patients. She plays an integral role in providing the high level of care that we are all proud of here at ACO. Lu speaks Mandarin and is happy to help with translation if needed.
When she is not working, Lu enjoys hiking and yoga!
Olivia has over 30 years’ experience in the dental industry and is enjoying the varied role of ACO receptionist. She enjoys meeting and greeting patients and getting to know them as they progress through their smile journey.
Olivia’s friendly and helpful manner ensures a great experience at ACO from beginning to end.
Olivia is married with two daughters and does a couple of half-marathons during the year to keep active.
Sophia is a new member of the team and is currently working towards earning her New Zealand Dental Association certificate in assisting.
Sophia is focused on making patients feel at ease during their appointments and providing a calm environment for everyone. She supports the orthodontists in providing the best possible care and takes a lead role in providing oral hygiene and appliance instructions.
Outside of the practice you’ll find her walking on the beach, doing yoga or spending time with family and friends.
Sophie is new to the practice – she loves that her role as an assistant means she can enjoy being part of every patient’s smile journey up close and finds seeing the end results most rewarding.
Sophie has had braces herself so is always on hand to help our patients with clear and thoughtful advice and offer encouragement if needed.
Outside work, Sophie enjoys going to the gym, Op shopping, and eating out with friends.
